We are pleased to advise you that we are lowering the Recommended Retail Prices* (RRPs) of our Economy and Sub-Economy cigarette products effective 1st June 2016.
Our bestselling Imperial Tobacco brands including L&B Blue, JPS, Windsor Blue, Carlton and Player’s, will all see reductions of up to 24p per packet.
Tobacco pricing plays a critical role in the independent trade, and through our ‘Partnering for Success’ initiative we’re working with retailers to ensure they remain competitive after 20th May 2016, when EUTPD II and standardised packaging legislation** comes into force.
In light of this, a new recommended retail price list for Imperial Tobacco’s brand portfolio, effective from 1st June 2016, is now available to download from the ‘Product & Price Lists’ section of this website.
*For the avoidance of doubt retailers are free at all times to determine the selling prices of their products.
**For the avoidance of doubt the content of this article is without prejudice to Imperial Tobacco’s position that the Standardised Packaging of Tobacco Products Regulations 2015 are unlawful and therefore subject to the outcome of Imperial Tobacco’s ongoing legal challenges.
For the avoidance of doubt, the previous price announced of Player’s and Carlton effective 1st July 2016 is no longer valid. Recommended Retail Prices remain unchanged across all other brands.
